I have worked as a commercial, graphic and technical artist on a freelance or temporary basis for 27 plus years with companies such as Raytheon, Honeywell, Lithographic Publications, Goodway Graphics, Textronics, Superior Home Products, Boston Scientific, Dartmouth Press, Natural Nail Care, Avco, ARS Electric, FemVets and 2 international companies, Libradon, and AquaPuritas. Most recently Caron Chiropractic, Aspen Aerogels, Raven Gunsmith and Greater Waltham Association of Retarded Citizen (GWARC).

I am presently employed full time at Foster-Miller, Inc., a research and development firm located in Waltham, Massachusetts as the Supervisor of the Commercial Art and Design Group. I joined Foster-Miller in 1984 as a technical artist, that job happily evolved into a more commercial and graphic position that fit with my training and talent.

My experience includes creating corporate and product identities such as logo designs, letterhead, business cards, brochures and data sheets. I regularly design ads, trade show displays, posters, point of purchase displays, and onscreen presentations. I am capable on a PC but I am proficient on a MAC using Adobe InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Microsoft Power Point and more. With a considerable network of commercial, graphic and technical artists, writers, proof readers and vendors available, Raven Graphix is capable of expediting any job large or small. Although located north of Boston, technology has blurred the geographical boundaries. For example: ARS Electric, Inc. is located in Malden, Massachusetts, AquaPuritas home base is Sweden, with other locations in Poland, FemVets is located in Rochester, New York, and Caron Chiropractic is located in Springfield, Oregon. The majority of the work for these companies is done via e-mail and the web. The rest conducted by phone and with package delivery services.
